Minapa Vada /Urad dal vada

Ingredients:
Urad dal-2 cups
Green chilly-3 nos
salt to taste
sooji/rava-1 tsp(optional)
oil for deep fry
u can also add chopped onion,ginger,curry leaves.But I don't added,I like to have the plain vada.soak the urad dal about 2 to 3 hour.drain out the water.
In a blender add the urad dal,green chilly,salt grind into thick and coarse paste(here don't add any more water),transfer the dough into a bowl add sooji to it,knead the the dough.
To get a nice fluffy vada ,let the dough rest for 20 to 30 mins.If u r using wet grinder u can make vada immediately.
heat the oil in a pan. then knead the dough.wet the hands take a spoon full of dough.flat the dough and make a hole with thumb in the center of  the dough.if u won't get with palm,take a poly thin paper, wipe with some water.make the shape as shown in the figure.
drop them into heat oil.
fry them to both sides on medium flame.fry till they turned into golden color.take them into a tissue paper to observe excess oil.
serve hot with any chutney.I like to eat with peanut chutney.
