Bellam appalu

This is the nivedhyam for any pooja.especially for Durga maa and at kedareeshwara vratham...
Ingredients:
wheat flour-1 cup
grated jaggery/bellam -1/4 to 1/2 cup
cardmom powder -pinch
water
ghee or vegetable oil for deep fry
first add the few water to jaggery don't add too much water.melt the jaggery in water using microwave or on stove.or  also u can bring it to boil.

                                      
now add tthe jaggery water to wheat flour and add pinch of cardmom powder make a soft dough.
make small balls out of it.
Take one poly thin cover smear it with ghee and press the balls in round shape.
heat the oil in kadai when oil heats one by one drop them into oil.fry on medium flame until turns into brown color.
take them into tissue paper.it will observe excess oil.serve hot or cool.

thanks a lot....it is perfect for nivedyam and it is traditional sweet.....this is the first time I tried but it came out delicious....u also try it for the next time,,,u will enjoy the taste....
