When u feel cold try his soup / rasam it's give soothing effect to your closed nose and throat.
Ingredients :
For Rasam /Soup
Tamarind -lemon sized
Green chilly-3
Garlic cloves-2
Hing/Asofetedia-1/4 tsp
sugar/Jaggery-1 tsp
Curry leaves
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves-few
for tadka:
Coriander,cumin,mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Oil-2 tsp
For Powder
Whole Pepper corn-1/2 tsp
Red chilly-2
Coriander,cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
Dried Ginger / Ginger-1/2 inch
Method :
In a microwave safe bowl add tamarind and enough water put it in microwave about 1 min.cool down it.
then squeeze the pulp and add 3 cups water.Mean time put the In frying pan add Powder ingredients and saute them for few mins till all ingredients change it's color.
cool down it.In a blender blend them into fine powder.In a sauce pan heat the oil and tadka ingredients when starts spluttering add chopped green chilly and cloves saute for few mins then add curry leaves ,turmeric powder and saute for few seconds.
then add tamarind pulp, powder and hing.
Garnish with Coriander leaves.That's it hot hot miriyala charu is ready to serve.
serve with hot rice,cooked dal /mudda pappu.
